SWATNG (next generation) is a tactical police simulator.

The gameplay follows the style of old tactical shooter games (like SWAT4 / RAINBOW SIX), with an emphasis on solving tactical situations with the correct use of men and equipments at your disposal while minimizing casualties.

In SWATNG the goal is to take control of the situation saving all the civilians and arresting the criminals rather than killing them, protecting in the meanwhile the safety of your men.

You play as a SWAT officer with 10 SWAT officers at your command, divided into teams.

The game will be in third/first person.

Features:

 

- Agents

Use up to 10 SWAT officers divided into teams. Teams can be combined at will in any time of the game (from a minimum of one agent per team up to a maximum of 4) to provide maximum operational flexibility.

The equipment of each agent is:

- Main weapon (machine gun)

- Secondary weapon (gun)

- Tactical equipment (night vision, flashbang, c4, sting grenade, grenade gas, picklock, doorbang).

-Gameplay

Great emphasis on team management, putting the player in the role of an officer that the first role is to lead his men, rather than kill any enemy alone.

For this reason, we are implementing a system of orders that should give the player

the freedom to handle any situation.

Any order given to a team can be :

- immediately  executed 

- syncronized with one or more orders 

- subordinated to the execution of another order  

- triggered only at certain events (e.g. enemy spotted, or hostage spotted)

- subordinated to the outcome of an action (e.g. if a team A has cleared a room "X" then a team B will enter the room)

 

A friendly AI smart enough to avoid too much micromanagement of your men.​

- Armored truck

​The van will be drivable in first person, with the ability to give team orders, or in third person as an operating element.

Its functions are transport agents, give cover in high-risk situations, transport support gear (ammunition, tactical allocations). The vehicle is equipped with independent suspension, armor plating, high power additional searchlights.

-A.C.I.V.

A small, tracked, armored critical incident vehicle designed to allow law enforcement the ability to observe, approach , or deliver completely protected agents from behind custom-installed bulletproof glass.

 

E.O.D Robot

Designed to provide enhanced bomb disposal capabilities to explosive ordnance disposal The robot offers high reliability and excellent manoeuvrability. It can be used to identify and disarm booby traps, fireworks, improvised explosive devices and other dangerous objects in closed areas, buildings and vehicles. It also performs reconnaissance, monitoring and investigation of objects in exceptionally dangerous conditions

-Helicopter

​A support helicopter with surveillance and coverage functions is available.

It is equipped with night / infrared camera and a sniper on board.

Its use will be only in third person as a tactical operational element.

 

-Paramedical units

In case of need it is possible to have the intervention of an ambulance for agents / injured civilians.

 

-Scenario

Tactical situations will include outdoors and indoors scenarios.

There will be multiple operation types, from the simplest (robbery / theft) to more complex situations (terrorism / kidnap).
